Each month we choose our "Improvers of the Month" . Not necessarily the best behaved dog in the class or the one who finds all commands easy, but the one that we think has improved the most.
Our marker, Melanie, watches each dog and handler as they enter and leave the building, during the exercises in the class and how they relax when other dogs are doing their exercises. They're marked for their performance and, at the end of each month, cups are awarded for the three Monday night classes and the three Friday night classes (these have to be returned). The winners and their handlers are also awarded a certificate and rosette which they can keep and proudly display at home. Improver of the month for March 2011 was Jack with Angela his Mum. Improver of the monthe for May 2011 was Holly. Improver of the Month for June 2011 was Diesel. We have TWO improvers for July 2011!! In the "Starter" Class we have Miro and in the more advanced class we have Ellie. Well done both. Due to Melanies' new work schedule we must say goodbye to her. Thank you, Melanie for your support over the past few years. WE NOW NEED A NEW MARKER, VOLUNTEERS PLEASE!
